Thania Zainostorres

Hi, I’m Thania! I’m from New York City, but I consider North Carolina to be my home. I’m a mama of a four-year-old boy who has twice my energy. I developed a passion for the gym seven years ago and found inspiration in that to become a photographer.

I studied Film for a year in Atlanta, then transferred to the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earning my BA.

Every day is a learning process, and it’s taught me as an artist that there isn’t such thing as perfection. I take pictures of the simplest things like my son laughing, two people sitting down and having a cup of coffee, or people working out. That’s what art is to me, just being in the moment.
